This all comes to a tilt when his life gets torn apart in the glimpse of an eye. Jim struggles with his own emotions and his personal trials as his life unravels before him. While Jim knows accidents happen, things are not always as they seem. When questions of motive arise we cant help but question the man himself. The consequences of every action often lead down a very dark road.About the DirectorJosh pushes his architectural career towards centering itself on the identity of the built environment within our social fabric. Throughout his Architectural Undergraduate studies at Ball State, Josh maintained an interest in animation and filmography. Though he never took film classes, Josh pursued film and video in his spare time teaching himself how the world of architecture and film are not so different. The composition of light and dark, bright and shadow, the balancing of proportions applied equally to both fields. Upon graduating in 2006, Josh went to work for an architectural firm in Chicago, IL. and practices architecture fill time. In his spare time he still maintains his interest in film and has produced several short films to date. About the ProductionNo Outlet was a get-up-and-go kind of project. Friend and lead actor, William Tanoos was set to leave for L.A. in less than one month so we began brainstorming a project we could shoot before he left fo the 'big time.' Because we were both working full time, (myself an architect, and William a lawyer), we came up with the bones of the story and found only one weekend that would work for both of us to film. We met in our home town of Terre Haute and filmed No Outlet in a single weekend. When we arrived in TH, neither of us knew the script too well, we had no locations, and we didn't know who would be filling the other roles. Things quickly shaped up for us that Saturday and we were off and rolling. As with most independent projects, we had no budget and no real plan. However, what we can say is that we managed to get this project finished and that is something to be proud of. More often than not, it's the "getting going" that's the hardest part.THIRTY SIX WEEKSSynopsisBob is your typical middle class American struggling in today's economy to provide for his family. He does everything the right way; he is a hardworking, family man who toils long days at the office while still caring for his wife who is due to give birth at any minute. However, sky-rocketing gas prices, surmounting bills, and a pending mortgage foreclosure all amount to a financial dilemma that Bob must navigate through in order to take care of his young, expanding family.
