hi i just want to say you do great work and i am definitely showing my daughter (14) your blog. she talked me into doing video with her and although we haven’t done anything for money yet, we believe we are on the right track. I want to ask you, do you use a shoulder, tripod or some sort of stabilizer? i was thinking of purchasing an 2 inexpensive rig but thought that it would be too heavy for my daughter. what would you suggest. also we are using 24-70 f2.8 lenses, so far so good in some situations, would you suggest a prime like 85mm? and again you guys do GREAT work!!!

    • Larry, thanks for the kind words. My wife and I never use tripod except for ceremony coverage. For the rest of the day we use shoulder mount support and a glidecam HD2000. We also never use zoom lenses except for ceremony coverage. We stick to 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, and 100mm f/2.0 – I don’t think a shoulder mount would be too heavy for her if you were using a prime lens and a small DSLR with no grip. Good luck.
